Agra: The seven-day Shri Bhagwat Katha, being held at Sindhu Bhavan, Kamla Nagar, concluded on Tuesday. During the Katha, the explanation of the four Vedas, Puranas, the Gita, and the Shri Bhagwat Mahapurana was delivered by Prabhupad, Pandit Mayank Upadhyay (from Iglas), and the attendees listened with devotion. Over the past seven days, the Katha narrated the affectionate love and boundless devotion of Lord Shri Krishna, along with his various divine leelas. It also inspired the youth to build a beautiful society by removing the atrocities, misconduct, bitterness, and immorality prevalent in today’s time.

On the seventh and final day of this religious ceremony, the narration focused on Lord Krishna’s supreme leela, the Ras Leela, his journey to Mathura, the liberation of the wicked King Kansa through the Kamsa Vadha, the rescue of Kubja, the killing of Shishupal, and the story of Sudama. These narrations immersed the audience in devotion. During the event, the bhajan singing made the attendees dance to the rhythm and tunes. Pandit Ji emphasized that building a beautiful society is possible through love and devotion, and that what can be achieved through love cannot be done through violence.

History bears witness to the fact that only a few people, through their good deeds, are remembered forever. The attendees enjoyed the musical Bhagwat Katha throughout the night. A large number of male and female devotees, from nearby villages and even distant areas, participated in the Katha. For seven days, the entire environment was filled with devotion. Among the attendees were Gopi Guru Ji, the head of Langda Ki Chowki, Rishi Kumar, Kamlesh Sharma, Akash Sharma, Rekha Sharma, Alka Sharma, Ravindra Sharma, Vaidya Kalicharan Sharma, R.K.
