Agra – Under the auspices of Vishwa Sanatan Trust (Registered), a grand Kalash Yatra was organized on the auspicious occasion of Pitru Paksha, marking the commencement of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha for the welfare of the people. During the Kalash Yatra, hundreds of women, with deep devotion, carried Kalashes on their heads. The devotees, led by the Kathavyaas, the highly revered Karshini Mayank Upadhyay, danced to the tunes of the band from Janak Park, Kamla Nagar to Sindhu Bhavan, Kamla Nagar.
In a joint statement, the President of Vishwa Sanatan Trust, Akash Sharma, and Secretary Rekha Sharma mentioned that this Katha was initiated with the purpose of honoring ancestors, awakening Hinduism, and liberating individuals from all sins.
The renowned scholar of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Mayank Upadhyay, while delivering the sermon, shared that it was this very Katha that removed the doubts in Narad’s mind. The same Katha was heard by the ghost Dhundhkar, who, after listening to it from his elder brother, was freed from the ghostly realm and attained Vishnu Lok. The Kathavyaas emphasized that listening to Bhagwat Katha cleanses all sins.
This program was brought to life with the special cooperation of Anil Singhal, Ankit Mishra, J.K. Bhai, Mohe, and others.
